Hager Sharp was founded in 1973 to help people live healthier, smarter, and safer lives. As employee-owners, we take pride in our mission to succeed as a business by doing work that is important to our nation’s wellbeing.
We work with clients that reflect our expertise in health, education, and safety. We never have and never will represent tobacco or alcohol interests because we’re dedicated to clients who contribute to a better quality of life.
What We Do:
- Apply innovative social marketing techniques to advance behavior change that will, for example, contribute to diabetes prevention, create healthy habits among young girls that will lead to lasting bone health, convince teens to speak up when their friends are driving recklessly, or remind families to change their smoke alarm batteries regularly.
- Work in partnership with our clients—whether recruiting women to participate in an environmental impact cancer study, encouraging high school seniors to take an optional standardized test, or pushing adults to know their A1C number to help manage diabetes—share their mission, and apply our depth of knowledge to generate key insights that lead to powerful communications and measurable results.
- Create a workplace that is collaborative and supportive, enhancing the teamwork that drives superior client service. Our team brings a cross-section of expertise and includes former reporters, Capitol Hill staffers, social marketing experts, public health specialists, communications directors, designers, and more.
