Sense of Purpose

Hager Sharp is a firm with a culture rooted in the everyday lives of the employees it attracts. Each person at Hager Sharp brings to the job a sense of community commitment. Beyond the office, we apply our talents to a range of community service organizations where we are involved in the environment, neighborhoods, health, education, youth and housing programs.

Hager Sharp supports this spirit of service by encouraging every employee to use 16 "Hager Hours" each year to volunteer in the community. Staff have used "Hager Hours" to support a Project Hope mission in Guyana and to prepare Thanksgiving meals with DC Central Kitchen. On June 26, 2009, staff celebrated Hager Sharp's 36th anniversary with a company-wide day of service at a SOME housing community.
