Seeking Diabetes Expert

Hager Sharp seeks a health professional—preferably with communications experience—to support a national public health campaign on diabetes as a subject matter expert.

Your diabetes, nutrition, nursing or community health expertise, paired with experience in writing, program evaluation, and materials development will strengthen client products. Your project management experience will ensure superior client service and timely delivery of quality work products.

Requirements:

  • Diabetes experience required
  • Advanced health certification (RD, RN, CDE, MPH, CHES, etc.) required
  • 5-7 years of health communication experience in a health care delivery, government, or PR agency environment
  • Proven ability to work within a team environment
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to work within tight project timelines
  • BA/BS required. Advanced degree preferred
  • Attend meetings at client's Bethesda, MD location and Hager Sharp's DC office, required
  • Ability to travel to two or three major medical meetings per year
