Health/Social Marketing Project Director

Hager Sharp's Health practice is seeking an experienced project manager to lead social marketing/behavior change campaigns. Agency experience a plus, leadership in social marketing and health communications experience a necessity.

Responsibilities involve leading an agency team engaged in multi-faceted health communications programs that can include full scale social marketing programs to change behavior (media relations, education materials development, broadcast and print PSAs), formative and quantitative research for message testing and campaign evaluation, campaign strategy development, efforts to support clinical trial recruitment, and partnership development. Position requires strategic planning, media relations, and vendor management skills. Candidates should have at least seven years experience in social marketing, health communications, public relations, or related communications field. Some travel will be necessary.

Requirements:
• 7-10 years of social marketing communication experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to work within a team environment
• Strong project management skills
• Quick thinking and responsive, proactive and creative
• Ability to work within tight project timelines

Senior Account Executive/Account Supervisor

Hager Sharp is recruiting a Senior Account Executive/Account Supervisor (depending upon experience) for our health practice. The position calls for expertise across a range of health communications and promotions capabilities, including media relations. Responsibilities will include media relations, including media strategy, media list development, electronic media kits and other content, pitching and story placement, coordination of interviews; partnership development; and some day-to-day account management. Candidate must have strong writing/editing and verbal communications skills, ability to think creatively, highly effective work habits, excellent organization skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment. Must be responsive and deadline focused with strong client service orientation. Needs to be a team player, yet can work well independently. Experience in media or agency and health field preferred.
