Here's something we can dance to: Footage of First Lady Michelle Obama doing our Best Bones Forever! dance on the TODAY show

While discussing the causes important to Michelle Obama, NBC's TODAY show included video of HHS Office on Women’s Health (OWH) Program Manager Ann Abercrombie and Hager Sharp Vice President Darcy Sawatzki shown dancing “The BBF” along with the First Lady on the White House lawn. “The BBF” dance is part of the award-winning Best Bones Forever! (BBF!) campaign that Hager Sharp produced for OWH. With an emphasis on friendship and fun, Best Bones Forever! encourages girls and their BFFs to “grow strong together, stay strong forever" by improving their bone health behaviors, knowledge, and attitudes.

In addition to the TODAY show clip, a peer-reviewed article about the 2011 Best Bones Forever! Let's Dance Contest Featuring Savvy was recently published in The George Washington University's Cases in Public Health Communication & Marketing journal.

Hager Sharp continues its long-term relationship with OWH, including work on Best Bones Forever! and a host of other programs geared toward improving women's health in the United States.
