On February 9, 2010, Mrs. Obama spoke at the White House to discuss Let's Move, a national campaign to combat the problem of childhood obesity. The First Lady was joined by cabinet members, sports and entertainment figures, members of the medical community, and mayors. At this event, Mayor Chip Johnson of Hernando, Mississippi highlighted the BodyWorks program as an effective tool to help parents learn how to build a healthier home environment. In an effort to fight the growing obesity rates in Mississippi, the City of Hernando is currently using the BodyWorks program, an obesity prevention program developed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Office on Women's Health and supported and maintained by Hager Sharp.
