Hager Sharper tattoos Cloris Leachman...where?!?
Academy Award-winning actress Cloris Leachman headlined a recent congressional briefing to encourage lawmakers to support osteoporosis prevention and research efforts.
Darcy Sawatzki, project manager for the firm’s work on the Best Bones Forever! campaign, attended the event to promote the campaign and support campaign partner National Osteoporosis Foundation (NOF). Best Bones Forever! is a national bone health campaign for girls of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office on Women’s Health.
Cloris, age 85, closed out the high-energy briefing with a rallying cry for more fun and flashy osteoporosis prevention efforts. Answering her call, the executive director of NOF invited her to participate in the most exciting bone health campaign around—Best Bones Forever!—by getting a temporary tattoo of the campaign’s iconic ‘Exskullmation Point.’
The feisty “Dancing with the Stars” contestant agreed without hesitation—and then shocked everybody (including Darcy, the tattoo artist) by pulling down the waistband of her pants and requesting her ink on her right butt cheek! She then turned around to show the final product to a full house of speechless—but delighted—congressional staffers.
Hager Sharp shared this cheeky moment with the Washington Post’s “Reliable Source” columnist, who ran the item in the newspaper, on the blog , and via Twitter.
We’re tickled that Best Bones Forever! is the kind of campaign celebrities like Cloris Leachman can really get behind! For more on the campaign, go to www.bestbonesforever.gov.
